this is how your FTP login might look.
Our homepage web server is called members.brandx.net. (Long time users, please note that this is the same server that was previously known as modigliani and that modigliani.brandx.net will still work. Customer feedback indicated that no one could remember how to spell modigliani so we changed it.)
File names are case senitive. We recommend using exclusively lowercase letters. The openning file must be named "index.html".
Use an FTP program to log into "members.brandx.net" with your username and password. (Please note the "Pusername" is only used for dialing in.) Go to directory "/var/www/docs/user/(your username)".

On your FTP program, use the "put" command. On some FTP programs such
as WS_FTP you simply click on an arrow icon to send files. HTML files
must be transferred as text. Graphics files must be transferred
as raw data, not binhex or macbinary.
